Chocolate peda


  • Milk powder - 1 cup

  • Condensed milk - 200gms

  • Cocoa powder - 3-4tsp

  • Butter - 80-100gms



  1. Microwave the butter for 1 mint. at 100% till it melts.

  2. To the melted butter add the milk powder, condensed milk and cocoa powder.

  3. Keep this mixture in microwave for 1 mint. at 100% and mix it well in between.

  4. Again keep in the microwave for 10 sec at 100%, keep a watch when it become fluffy off it.

  5. When the heat become tolerate to hand grease your hand and make it into peda.

Paneer Tikka

  • Panner - ½ kg (cut into cubes of 3 cm)
  • Onion - 2 (Cut into cubes)
  • Tomato - 2 (Cut into cubes removing the seeds)
  • Capsicum - 1 (Cut into cubes)
  • Spinach- 1 bunch (Boiled)
  • Ginger paste - 2 tsp
  • Garlic paste - 4 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Green chilly - 3 No.
  • Mint leaves - 1 small bunch
  • Cream - 3 tsp
  • Corn flour - 2 tsp
  • Chick pea flour - 3 tsp (fried)
  • Lemon juice - 3tsp
  • chat masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - as required
  • Tooth pick - as required

  1. In a vessel add 2 tsp ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, red chilly paste, 1 tsp lemon juice and panner mix all together and keep it a side for 15 mints to marinate.
  2. Now in a blender add boiled spinach, green chilly and mint leaves, blend this into nice paste.
  3. After 15 mints remove the panner from the marination and discard the excess liquid.
  4. In a bowl add cream, spinach paste, 2 tsp ginger paste, cornflour, chickpea flour, salt, remaining lemon juice and 2 tsp oil. mix well.
  5. Gently apply this mixture over the panner and keep aside.
  6. Now in the remaining mixture add the onion, tomato and capsicum, apply all over it.
  7. Place the panner and the vegetable on the high rack  on microwave safe plate and grill for 15 - 20 mints. till brown on all sides.
  8. Reposition it frequently .
  9. Take the tooth pick and arrange one by one, first capsicum then tomato, onion and panner. Arranging is your choice.
  10. Now sprinkle chat masala and serve it hot.

Chicken Noodles Soup

Last week my husband was having viral fever. I asked him what he want to eatChicken Noodles soup he told any thing which gives me energy. So I thought of this soup. I went in to the kitchen blank without any idea while I was chopping I got this idea of making this soup. It will be some what bland if you want you can add sauce or chillies.

  • Chicken - 500gms(with bone)
  • Carrot - 50 gms (Chopped)
  • Beans - 50 gms(Chopped)
  • Capsicum - 50 gms(Chopped)
  • Cabbage - 50 gms(Chopped)
  • Noodles - 100 gms
  • Onion - 1 no(Chopped)
  • Garlic - 5 pods(crushed)
  • Oil or Butter - 2 tsp
  • Pepper - as required
  • Salt - to taste

  1. In a Microwave bowl put the chicken and add enough water so that it cook nicely and add salt, keep in 100% for 15 mints. If the chicken did not cook keep for some more time.
  2. When done remove the flesh and discard the bones, keep this aside.
  3. In the same water add all the vegetables, keep in 100% power for 5 mints. till it become tender.
  4. When cooked strain it and keep both, the vegetable and the stock aside.
  5. In a big  microwave safe bowl add water, oil and salt, boil for 8 min. at 100% power.
  6. Add noodles and boil for 7 min. at 100%. Stir in between.
  7. Strain and wash under cold running water and keep aside.
  8. Now in a kadai, put the oil or butter and let it heat.
  9. Add the garlic and the onion and saute' it till it become transparent.
  10. Now add the shredded chicken and the vegetable and saute' it for 5 mints in high flame so that the moisture goes.
  11. Add the noodles and the stock and if required add more water and cook it well and add the required salt and pepper.
  12. Serve it hot.

Chocolate Peda

  1. In a microwave safe bowl put the butter for 1 min. at 100% power, so that the butter melt.

  2. To this add milk powder, condensed milk and cocoa powder.Mix it well.

  3. Now keep this mixture in the microwave for 1 min. at 100% power.

  4. Mix it well and again keep into the microwave at 100% for 10 sec, but keep a watch, when it comes as fluffy take it out.

  5. When it become tolerant to your hands grease your hand and make it as peda shape.


Note: If you want it to make more rich you can add cashew nuts, raisins etc.

Butter Paneer

It just tempt your taste buds with there creamy paneer pieces floating in tomato gravy. It goes well with hot  naan or paranthas.

  • Paneer – 250grm (cut into cubes)
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Tomato puree – 1 cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Cashewnut paste – 2 tbsp
  • Cream – ½ cup
  • Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  • Sugar – ½ tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Coriander leaves - as required(finely chopped)

  1. In microwave safe bowl add butter and melt it at 100% power for 1 min.
  2. Now add tomato pure, ginger-garlic paste, tomato sauce, sugar, garam masala powder,  red chilli powder, salt and pepper and microwave at 100%  for 5 - 6 min.
  3. Stir in between.
  4. Add cream, cashew nut paste,water as required and microwave covered at 80% power for 3 - 4 min.
  5. Lastly add panner pieces and microwave covered at 80% power for 2 - 3 min. Standing time of 2 - 3min. is given.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Malai Phirni

It is Kashmir's famous dessert made from milk, rice and sugar. It is very easy to make in microwave and delicious to eat.

  • Rice - 50gms

  • Toned Milk - 3 cups

  • Sugar - 100gms

  • Cardamom powder - 1tsp

  • Cream or malai - 1 tsp (whipped)



  1. Clean, wash and soak the rice for 30 min.

  2. Drain the water and grind the rice, sugar and cardamom with little water.

  3. In a microwave safe bowl, boil the milk at 100% for 6-7 min.

  4. Now add the rice paste to it and microwave it covered for 10-12mins. at 50% power or till it thickens.Stir in between.

  5. Cool it and then add the cream, again microwave at 50% power for 7-8mins.

  6. Now chill in the refrigerator and serve it.

Paruppu Podi


  • Toor dal - 1cup

  • Channa dal - 1/2cup

  • Hing powder - 1tsp

  • Dry chilly - as required

  • Salt - to taste

  • Oil - 1tsp



  1. In a microwave safe bowl put some oil.

  2. Add hing and microwave for 1 mint, in high.

  3. Now add all other ingredients and roast till the aroma comes.

  4. Grind it nicely.

  5. Now serve it with hot white rice.

Crunchy Peanuts

This crunchy peanuts is very nice time pass. Last Saturday when my daughter was asking me some thing to ate I thought of this because it takes only 3 min to make. We can serve this even with chopped onion, green chilly, coriander leaves and lemon juice, if you want you can add chat masala also.Crunchy-Peanuts
  • Peanut - 1cup
  • Gram flour or Besan - 1cup
  • Rice Flour - 1tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Asafoetida - a pinch
  • Zera powder - 1tsp
  • Oil - 1tsp
  • Water - 1tsp
  • Pudina leaves - a small bunch

  1. In a big bowl mix all together except water.
  2. Add water little by little.
  3. In a microwave safe plate, apply oil and put the peanut mixture in it as one layer.
  4. Keep in high for 3min and mix in between.

Tips : After taking out from the microwave wait till it cool-down. Otherwise it won't be crunchy.
