Prawns Fry


  • Prawns - 1 cup

  • Ginger - 1 piece (crushed)

  • Garlic - 3 pods (crushed)

  • Pepper - 1 tsp

  • Dry chilly - 2

  • Vinegar - 1 tsp

  • Salt - to taste

  • Cardamom - 2 pieces(crushed)

  • Cinnamon - 1 piece(crushed)

  • Cloves - 2 piece(crushed)

  • Oil - as required



  1. In a vessel put prawns, vinegar, ginger,garlic, dry chilly, pepper, salt, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom, mix all to gather with some water.

  2. Keep this for 15 minutes.

  3. In a pan put some oil and when it is heat put the prawns mixture and cook in slow fire.

  4. Now it is ready to serve.

  1. Excellent recipe. I love prawn fry. I always add a little bit of grated coconut to compliment the spices.
