Channa Masala 1

  • CholeKabuli Channa - 1cup
  • Tomato paste - 3no.
  • Green chilies - 2no.
  • Dried mango powder or Amchur powder - 1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Tea bag - 1no
  • Ginger - a small piese
  • Zera - 1tsp
  • Basen - 1tsp
  • Sugar - 1/4tsp
  • Black salt or kala namak - 1tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 3tsp

  1. Pressure cook the channa, ginger and teabag all together with some salt.
  2. In a kadai put oil, zeera. When it starts splutters put basen and stir nicely.
  3. Now put green chillies and tomato pure.
  4. Cook till the oil separates from the side, the add coriander powder, black salt and sugar then cook it nicely.
  5. Now add the channa and the amchur powder, cook all together nicely.
  6. Now it is ready to serve by garnishing with coriander leaves over it.
