- Bread - 1 loaf
- Milk - 1liter (fullcream)
- Sugar - 500gm
- Koya - 500gm
- Clarified butter or ghee - 250gm
- Saffron - As required
- Salt - a pinch
- Cashewnut - As required (chopped and roasted)
- Raisins - As required
- Cardamom - 2 to 3tsp ( powdered)
- Boil the milk nicely.
- To this add the saffron, cardamom, khoya and the sugar.
- Apply the clarified butter on the both side of the bread and place this on the frying pan and roast it till golden brown on both the side. Keep in the serving plate.
- Now pour this milk over the bread and put the roasted nuts over it.
- Now it is ready to serve. It can be served both cold and hot.
Tips:- If you want to make your dessert more rich, add more dry fruits.
