Gulab Jamun

Gulab jamunIt is a dessert which is popular throughout the India.

  • Maida - 250gm

  • Khoya - 200gm

  • Ghee - 250gm

  • Milk - as required

  • Cardamom powder - 1/2tsp

  • Water - 300gm

  • Sugar - 600gm

  • Salt - a pinch

  • Oil - to deep fry



  1. First make the sugar syrup, for that in a kadai put the water, sugar and the cardamom powder half of  half teaspoon.

  2. Let it boil nicely.

  3. In a vessel put the khoya, remaining cardamom powder, salt and maida, mix all this with milk.

  4. Kneed this as a dough.

  5. Now make as a small balls.

  6. Now in a kadai heat the oil and deep fry the balls till golden brown.

  7. Now put this in the sugar syrup.
